REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT(S) FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECT(S)
The Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority (“Authority”) is soliciting proposals to furnish renewable energy pursuant to power purchase agreements authorized pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15, as more fully described in the proposal packets available from the Authority’s administrative office, 1645 Ferry Avenue, Camden, New Jersey 08104, and which are available from said office weekdays between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, telephone number (856) 541-3700. Proposals must be submitted in the form provided in the proposal packet.
These proposals are being solicited through the competitive contracting procurement process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 et seq. Sealed responses to these requests must be received by the Authority no later than Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 10:30 am (Eastern Time). The Proposal Opening will take place at the above time and date in the Authority’s Administration Building located at 1645 Ferry Avenue, Camden, New Jersey, where the Authority will publicly open and read the name and proposed fee for all of the Proposals received. Proposals that are not received by 10:30 am at the Authority’s offices may be rejected. The envelope containing a proposal must be plainly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope to show the services for which the proposal is submitted, i.e. (Name of Proposal).
A contract or contracts will be awarded by the Authority at a public meeting in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals and in accordance with applicable laws.
Persons awarded a contract under these procedures are required to comply with the requirements of the Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations, Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, P.L. 2004, C19, “The New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play” Law (N.J.S.A. 19:44-A-20.4 et seq.) and the Prevailing Wage Act, (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.).
A pre-proposal meeting will be held in the Authority’s Administration Building located at 1645 Ferry Avenue, Camden, New Jersey on April 26, 2012 at 1:30 pm. While attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged.
Downloading Bid and RFP specifications
Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority is participating in Camden County’s new service to allow potential bidders the ability to download Bid and RFP specifications from a secure web site. The new County purchasing site allows suppliers to search the College’s open Bids and RFPs that they may be interested in and to have the specification package emailed directly to them. There is no harge to sign up or search the listings. We want to invite you to sign up for this new service. Once you submit the required information, the County’s Help Desk will email you a user name and password along with a link to the new site. Typically, the turn-around time to grant access to the site is less than 3 business days. You can sign up for this new service by following this link. In the future, the County will be adding additional functionality to the site, such as signing up to be notified of new opportunities.
