GI#42 Revised 5/25/2018
At this site, located in the Bergen Square neighborhood,
the existing concrete courtyard has been removed and
replaced with 2,650 square feet of pervious concrete that
will promote groundwater recharge as well as a 205
square foot continuous tree pit planted with two oak
trees. Overflow from the BMPs discharge to curb and gutter along Mt. Vernon Street. These
installations help to mitigate nuisance flooding in the area and reduces nonpoint source pollution
and stormwater that would otherwise discharge into the City of Camden's combined sewer system.
This site captures 79,716 gallons of stormwater per year. This project was completed in September
2015.
