Delaware River Port Authority CEO Paul Drayton, Esq. opens Millennium Park. The Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority, DRPA, and Camden County cooperated to bring citizens of Camden County a new park and fishing pier on the Delaware River. The CCMUA donated the land and will pay for the lighting costs. DRPA built the park and pier, and Camden County will maintain the property.

Paul Drayton of the DRPA listens to Mark Matsil, Assistant Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, who attended the dedication of the new park along with CCMUA Vice-Chairman James MacFarlane and Camden County Freeholder Edward McDonnell.

CCMUA Vice-Chairman James MacFarlane addresses the crowd who gathered at the new fishing pier at Millennium Park and expressed the wish that all of the residents of the area would be able to come out and enjoy their time here fishing on the Delaware River.

The Reverend Michael Doyle, pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Camden, offered thanks to those who helped to develop and build the new Millennium Park in the South Camden community. Father Doyle said of the park that "It will enrich the life of all of Camden County."
