Wastewater from the Atlantic Basin, in eastern Camden County, is treated at the Winslow Township plant.

Bacteria grow in the wastewater to consume organic material while the water passes through the oxidation ditches.

To make sure they will be level, the rack arms are built from the wall of the tank toward the center.
