The Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority has several informative programs about wastewater management within Camden County which can be presented to your group.
Speakers...
Knowledgeable speakers are available as a community service. Staff members from our Engineering Department can tell you how we built a modern collection system and treatment plants to replace the inadequate separate municipal plants. And what do we do to operate and maintain our facilities? We'll be happy to send an experienced speaker to tell you.
What about Senior Citizen rebates? Speakers from the Finance Department will explain how we support the program offered by the Camden County Office on Aging (phone number 1-800-955-2446). Our Finance Department can also explain our billing system to your organization.
Videos...
We have a number of
videos available for loan to schools.
These videos explain the importance of wastewater treatment and the details of the process, at a
level children can appreciate. While we have a variety of tapes on environmental subjects, we are
especially proud of our own production -
The Fantastic Journey
in which a plumber takes a curious youngster on a tour of the wastewater treatment system.
Tours...
Call to arrange an environmentally oriented stream walk for your class or science club. And a tour of our treatment plant can be an unforgettable educational experience!
