Sealed Bids for Contract No. 258 for Paul VI Stormwater Outfall Restoration will be received by The Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority office, located at 1645 Ferry Avenue, Camden, New Jersey 08101-1432 until 11:00 a.m. (Local Time), on October 16, 2024, and then at said office opened and read aloud publicly.
The project consists of pipe and manhole installation at the Paul VI outfall location, as well as the installation of a new headwall and preformed scour hole. The outfall work includes construction of a pipe and manhole to replace prevent further erosion in the area, including one (1) new manhole, pipe replacement, headwall, and preformed scour hole.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Commissioners of the CCMUA require the successful Bidder to prove the necessity of any change order(s). Therefore, please pre-examine everything before submitting your bid. Where the nature or amount of change orders cause suspicion that they are being submitted to purposely inflate your bid, the CCMUA will decline payment and refer the activity to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
The Commissioners will take the same approach to any other subsequent request for increases to the contract price.
The Owner reserves the right to reject all of the Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all minor informalities in any Bid received and to accept any proposal all in accordance with applicable law.”
