Engineering-Construction Projects

Capital improvement projects help maintain and enhance the CCMUA’s regional wastewater treatment system, including treatment facilities, interceptor sewers, pump stations, and related infrastructure. These projects ensure reliable operations, regulatory compliance, and protection of public health and the environment.

Current NJ Water Bank Funded Construction Projects

Aeration Tank and Plant Water Upgrades - Contract 610

This project will provide water quality benefits by adding an additional 30 years of useful life for the existing systems and remove maintenance and operating costs associated with the existing Plant Water Fire System and bring the Camden County Water Resource Recovery Facility in compliance with the current fire code requirements.

Sludge Dryer Facility Rehabilitation- Contract 612R

This NJ Water Bank funded project consists of improvements to the CCMUA’s Sludge Drying Facility, providing an additional 10 years of usage for existing systems and extending the life of the building support systems, in addition to ensuring more reliable service, reduce the risk of system failures and protect public health and the environment.
